Hyams is the garden centre on Folly Road, the James Island artery that runs from the Wappoo cut down toward the beach, and it has been serving the greater Charleston area since 1981.
It opens at half past eight six days a week and closes Sundays — a working nursery's schedule rather than a boutique's.
